Some fun little facts about Alex: He is now 11 weeks old and is about 13 1/2 lbs and 25 inches long! The doc says he is 95th Percentile for his length and 90th for his weight! We have a big boy on our hands. His personality is showing more and more each day. He is definitely a talker, just like his daddy. In fact, there are many times when we can't even get through an entire feeding because all he wants to do is look up at me (Heidi) and coo and babble. He is very curious, which also interrupts feedings, and he loves to look around at everything. Alex seems to be recognizing mommy and daddy really well, and I guess he likes us because he smiles a lot whenever he sees us. He especially likes to have his daiper changed and his feet played with. He is super squirmy . . . . so much in fact that a week ago he rolled over and has done it several times since then. To us he's perfect.

Alex was rootin' for the Home Team!
He seems to have a natural knack for drooling.
Alex is really good at sticking his tongue out. This skill was taught to him by his daddy. He does it a lot now when he is concentrating on something(notice the drool).
He's good at holding his head up and really tries to reach for bright objects in front of him. When I took this picture he was kicking with all his might trying to move his body toward it(notice the drool).
He can't really stand up yet without his neck getting tired of holding his head up. Here, he is taking a break and looking at his friend, Chief Squatting Frog (you can't see the drool, but it's there). The frog was actually named after Alex because of how Alex always used to position himself as a newborn. He always looked like a squatting frog and he always looked very serious, so we always called him Chief Squatting Frog. Aunt Rachel gave Alex the frog for Christmas.
This is what he does when he is supposed to be taking a nap in his crib. He thinks its cute . . . we think so too.
In this picture you can really tell how focused he gets and how good he is getting at trying to grab things. This toy was a gift from his Auntie Kimmie in Maryland. This also helps him to practice kicking. The more he kicks, the more noise and movement it makes. He loves it!
Alex is also pushing his legs up a lot. This is Daddy helping him stand, but you can tell that Alex is ready for bed. Aren't his jammies cute!? They are Mommy's favorite.
Alex loves to be in only a daiper, and that is when we usually get the most smiles out of him. Look at his pudgy arms.
