This is a holiday created, I think, by Rich Miller(Joseph's Dad) to celebrate their Scottish background during an Irish Holiday (St. Patrick's Day). How it works is that the day before St. Patty's Day you have to wear plaid or else you get pinched. Then, that evening you have to set out Leprechaun Traps. The bait is green water and lettuce. In the morning you will find a note from the Leprechaun saying, "Sorry you didn't get me this time," and he usually leaves you a green treat! So much fun!
We did have a fun St. Patrick's Day too! Our ward had a Chili Cookoff. This is an event that has been going on for years and years and is the ward's largest event of the year. In fact, it seemed like
there were more people at the cookoff than come on Sundays for church! Welllll, Heidi won 3rd place out of over 25 different chilis for her YUMMY concoction! Go Heidi!!
