My poor husband tolerates a lot of UnBirthday Wishes on his UnBirthday every year. This year he turned 31, but it was his 7 3/4 Birthday. Next year is a real one babe!! The saddest part is that he spent his actual birthday doing this:
| He was sicker than I have seen him since he had Mono two years ago. Poor baby. Alex was sick too. Well, everyone was, but that is a whole other story in itself. :) |
The nice thing about being sick on your UnBirthday is that it isn't really your Birthday anyway, so you can technically celebrate it whenever you want without feeling too guilty. We ended up celebrating it on March 3rd. :)
| Rebekah was kind enough to help me make the cake. She was the taste tester of course. |
| Alex was the decorator. He reallllly wanted to do Lion King since that is Daddy's favorite movie ever! |
| Joseph's usual request for his birthday dinner is Salmon and Cheesy Potatoe Casserole. We couldn't afford that this year, so he chose his second favorite.....Hot Dogs, Potatoe Salad, Baked Beans, and Chips. |
| The kids had to help with the placing of the candles of course. |
| Alex wrapped his present to Daddy in this Graham Cracker box, so Joseph pretended to eat it. :) The kids, of course, thought this was awesome! Alex's gift was the movie Robin Hood, and Joseph promised Alex they would both dress as Robin Hood to watch it together. Imagine a Dad and his son dressed as Robin hood together. HA! I can't wait! :) |
There he is with his spoils.
Happy UnBirthday Babe! We love you so much! |

Poor guy! Happy birthday anyway!
I was thinking of Joseph on his birthday knowing he was sick and meant to send him an e-mail. I'm happy you're better now. Looks like a great birthday and I love the Lion King cake!
