Big Girl Bed

My original plan was to keep Rebekah in her crib until she could climb out of it knowing the mischief she would cause with her sister sharing her room. Joseph wanted to let her "rise to the occasion" and go ahead and do the big girl bed thing now (January 8th, 2011). I gave in . . . . annnnnnnd. . . . . I shouldn't have. :) She did great the first week, and since then she does great at night too, but nap times . . . oh sweet nap times. They are filled with great discoveries, banging, laughing, giggling, stealing her sister's blankets, and all sorts of singing . . . and then finally sleeping . . . most of the time. The problem is that she plays so long that she only gets an hour or less nap . . . meaning that she entertains herself for an hour and a half sometimes 2 hours before sleeping . .. this means cranky Rebekah when I wake her up. It is to the point where we have to have Kaitlyn take her afternoon nap in our room in a pack n play. What a stinker. No going back now though.
